but you did realise that it covers all the fundamental poker theory which you must agree makes it a pretty useful poker theory book??

Aaand now we are disagreeing again :f_mad:

It covers all the fundamental theory but it isnt useful as a theory book?

Do something useful La, tell me why my image is only appearing as a link?? It works on the preview but all I see on the page is a link???

That dude, didnt you notice?

I think you might've failed to pick up on some sarcasm there.

And to actually give a more serious reply in this thread:

To add on to what la55i said, a quick google search reveals a lot of posts where you tried to sell your story that got removed or where you got discredited. And that's not just poker forums or other random forums, but also math and psychology/philosophy forums.

If your discovery is as big as you claim it to be, you and your theory will never get the credit you feel you deserve unless you prove your material in a scientific manner: state your hypothesis, describe your research method, show your results, draw your conclusion, etc. That way others can potentially replicate your research - or add on to it - to verify whether or not your premise/hypothesis actually holds true.

What you're doing here is pseudo-science at best and when you have such an incredibly egotistical undertone all the way through, it's no wonder hardly anyone is actually taking you seriously.

And 'egotistical' is honestly also a bit of an understatement because it genuinely feels like you have some sort of God-complex.

So I'm arrogant and wrong, I'm all those things because I didnt provide any evidence.. For what now? You guys aren't really saying much, your just giving me shit.

Hmh, I don't even bother to comment the other thing

Do something useful La, tell me why my image is only appearing as a link?? It works on the preview but all I see on the page is a link???

But this I can help you with..
It is be cause you are still a basic member, so some of your posting abilities are limited. You can't insert pictures or youtube videos, for example.

Ah. Cheers. And dont worry about the other thing, I found a quote from earlier which explains it.

I mostly agree with the content. You explained playing a draw. You explained odds and outs, pot odds, bet sizing and so on. Quite basic strategies that have been taught here for a long time.
Then you talked about mental game and tilting. A very important part of poker.

So I think the core of this book is ok. It is basic strategies that we all know

Ok , so it covers pokers basics, but it is useless as a poker book for beginners??? Errrm. Ok. Nice.

(perhaps it's best if you stop posting on my threads :f_biggrin: )

I mostly agree with the content. You explained playing a draw. You explained odds and outs, pot odds, bet sizing and so on. Quite basic strategies that have been taught here for a long time. Many of PokerStrategy's members are familiar with those because they have seen the coaching videos or articles. I'm a coach too and I have made videos about that stuff. But then you start talking about levels and say this is level X and so on.
Then you talked about mental game and tilting. A very important part of poker. One could read The Mental Game of Poker 1&2 by Jared Tendler and have a much deeper understanding and ability to fight it than reading about the level Y you mentioned.

So I think the core of this book is ok. It is basic strategies that we all know. But then you have taken the core and build the nonsense around it. You talk about Buddha, Sun Tzu, Einstein. And you say that a poker player gets better by understanding the levels. I kind of disagree with that. The player gets better by understanding the core things in the book, that I said, have been taught here for a long time.

Ok , so it covers pokers basics, but it is useless as a poker book for beginners??? Errrm. Ok. Nice.

No one ever told you that when you quote someone, you should take the text as it is and not just pick some parts and take them out of context so the text looks different than what it really is? I filled some parts that you missed..
The full post yadi is referring to can be found here: https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?postid=2906645#post2906645

And at that point, we were talking about whether you found anything new.

How has this been working out so far?
Now as your friend I must warn you that you could get banned from Twitter too if you do that...

Edit:
Sorry, noticed the date just now. Those are quite old already and you didn't get banned so no problems there.

Less of that. You'll be evicted too if you're not careful.

Your posts must have a valid premise, they need well researched evidence, and, you need to bow the fuck down to the master! You want arrogance. If I stop posting here I'm going to take over the entire poker world on my own. I'm miles ahead of everyone else, specifically in regards to poker theory, and that gives me a MASSIVE advantage in business. I've concocted amazing new games. I've already sunk $3000 into an ingenious new hub site which is pretty much finished now. I've completed the design brief for my own forum. You think I'm stopping at fundamental poker book, no fucking way. If I'm not to be affiliated with a website like this one I'll make my own.

Everything related to poker has been saturated with GTO and I alone understand how to contain it. Only I know how exploitation is going to take over. Obviously finances will slow down my conquest, there are some big players out there. But, lol, you have no idea how long it will take you to catch up with me when I am no longer here explaining everything to you. It's funny, because you dont realise, but with the launch of my revolutionary new theory book a new generation of Poker has already begun.

Errrm. Sorry La. Ok, when I quote someone I wont just use the relevant parts. I'll post the entire thing (which no one will read) But Ok, whatever.

WTF are you stalking me now lol? You're posting my attempts to contact reputable poker players with what I have found out on twitter. I didnt know you'd be able to see that stuff lol. I dont use twitter... Don't suppose you have Tom Dwans number do you?? I really want to know an exploitative legend thinks of my book.

Relevant seems to be quite subjective concept, because our idea of what is relevant is totally different.

And I wouldn't say it is stalking if you post something publicly with your public twitter profile that can be found using your own name...... :f_rolleyes:

Quite strange for someone who has unlocked all levels of the mind and is going to take over the entire poker world.

So he really spamed Negreanu and Dwan with his nutcrackpot book ?
I tell you there's a conspiracy. Everything is linked and now revealed. That's where they found their best ideas, that more rake is better and that Jungle should get scammed. Genius. The truth is out there.

Hey mods, I see you quickly mock anyone who agrees with me. Nice.

Whoa there!
The mods (or at least I) have more-or-less agreed with you on the following points:
:diamond:  The levels of thought exist
:diamond:  The levels of thought represent an exploitive strategy
:diamond:  Two players using such a strategy will reach a balance

We disagree on the following points:
:diamond:  The levels-of-thought approach is new -- it not, as you have been shown, yet refuse to acknowledge
:diamond:  The balance thus achieved has anything to do with "Game Theory Optimal" strategies, for the simple reason that the latter strategy involves mathematical calculations, while the thought-based approach does not
:diamond:  The thought-based approach used requires "level infinity" which is not achievable, if for no other reason that infinity itself is not achievable in math, in space, in time and certainly not in thought.

We mock you because:
:diamond:  The "level infinity" idea is patently absurd, and thus almost demands mocking
:diamond:  Despite repeated explanations, example and references -- which you have not apparently read or acknowledged -- you insist on repeating the same stuff over and over
:diamond:  Your thread title includes the word "proof" yet apart from a few contrived examples, you offer very little evidence
:diamond:  Your tone in dealing with others appears to be mocking -- or at least trolling. If you actually are baiting us, then you are indeed a master.

I wish you all the best.

I can totally get why you find it hilarious. I mean, calculating the whole GTO solution with your brain alone when you are already struggling with simple pot odds yourself... :mdr:

So that was the catch, a ebook. i am only 23usd away from true illumination.... or i could buy myself a pizza.

"Learn how all players think through their poker plays whilst unveiling a strategic method that has been evolving for billions of years to become perfect in almost every single way." leaving aside the "billions of years" thing, i see a lot of poker players here, and they dont seem to think poker the same way you do.
