I was wondering a lot about this lately. How do you if you are on the right track with MTTs and MTT SNGs? What stat is the most important indicator of that?
What is a relevant size when you want to find out if you are doing good?
Also: when do you know that you are good enough to move to higher buyin MTTS?

That's tough to say, but even if you have played 10k MTT's it could be variance.
If you keep the 300 buy-inn rule of the highest buy-inn it would be fine to move up.

Really depends on the fieldsize's you play imo.
That's indeed true. Especially if you on PokerStars the variance and the flied sizes are huge.

Yeah, precisely. That's why I'm asking. When do you know that you play well and not just riding the upswing train?
I really struggle with this one guys. I still play 1 and 2$ tournaments and SNGs. What kind of things you should work one to move up from the micros? Increase volume, work on your game, play more SNGs instead of MTTS?
