Nl16, KTo bluff river or not to bluff. That's the question.

(50h) 31/25/1.2/50 / 3bet 9/

Only 50 hands on this guy. Seems to be pretty lagy and sd bound, but again 50 hands...
Flop can be fired? What to do next?
I took passive line. I would like as is that river is good for bluffing and if so,what sizing chose?
It hits his range, mine could as well. Pp won't fold, Ahi probably, but how many aces could he have? Few, lot will 3bet preflop, some offsuited low aces will probably fold.
... I think x fold, what about you guys?

Can't really represent a 7 or a 5 because of the turn check. 86's is a possible hand you can have.
You can have all jacks, but so he does (J7, J8, J9). He doesn't seem very interested in the pot.
Maybe just check and try to see a showdown? He can have hands like Q8-QT, T7- T9 and you beat this with K high.

You could bet small flop but checking is fine too.
As played river nothing much to do, if you bet now he won't fold A-high. You have more or less decent showdown value.

After his check OTF, turn is a hotspot for a stab. People overfold once they check back flop like this.

Not it isn't. He'll check BEHIND (not back, he hadn't the initiative) his SDV and call it on the turn as he won't believe us because we didn't cbet on the flop.

That's for sure. I was thinking, he could fold Ahi. Probably not. Thanks for help here.

Ok my bad.. I used the wrong terminology.. anyways it's irrelevant, because everyone knows what I meant. But thank you for correcting me, I'll know it next time.

I disagree here with you though, about them not overfolding OTT. Mass database analysis of 20-30millions of hands showed, that when they check BEHIND OTF, they DO overfold on EVERY researched board texture vs a stab.

They "overfold" hands you are already beating though. So no point in bluffing them out with K-high. He'll more or less play perfectly against your turn bet (folding Q-high- and calling A-high+).
By the way it's not irrelevant to use terms correctly. Back is for initiative and behind is for position.

So you are missing on an opportunity to take it down with an instantly profitable bet, because you are hoping to see a free showdown? Our villain doesn’t have to be a genius to see, that your range isn’t super strong after you check twice. I think he will attack our range more often than not, and even if he doesn’t.. why to miss an autoprofit play?
