Hi!

I have another interesting hand for you. I believe the pre-flop and Flop plays are quite standard and OK. However, on Turn things get interesting:

After the raise on Flop I put the SB on 22,66, KQ, QJ, QT, Q9, Qx8x, Kh*h,7h8h,8h9h,9hth,thjh,5h7h,7h9h,8hth,9hjh. Since his bet is quite small, I don't think it restricts this range at all. I decide to call not to scare off the hearts and Qx that I beat. (I have no other prior information on the villain)

On the river, I have an interesting decision again against almost a pot size bet. Given his range, he can most certainly be bluffing all hearts and value betting KQ, that I beat or the sets, QJ, Q9 that obviously beat me. He is probably not betting weaker Qx. So out of the range that he is betting I beat like 50%.

Do you think I call correctly - only with top pair against plenty of missed draws though? Should I be perhaps shoving on Turn instead? -if I assume that he is not calling me with hearts here I am basically crushed by his calling range.

Thanks!

I would start with at least a 100bb stack, butnot sure what I need to think of his turn bet.
I would most likely shove here, because I expect he's more often on a draw than a made hand.

My 2 cents. Bet bigger OTF ~75% PSB.
As played, raise OTT to deny great price to his FD's, if he 3bets, then fold. I think, something like $ 1.50 should be fine.

I wouldn't put him on sets OTT after he bets like a pussy.

EDIT: Right, you can shove actually.

Yup, shove turn. Pot is 2.05, you have the blocker. That min bet... I dont know. What does he want with that? He can have a set, but whatever.

Thanks!

Good point also that he is probably not min betting sets like this. Perhaps it would be also difficult to get value from not completed flush draws on the river if that would be his exact hand.
