Bankroll on Unibet 97
Very strange that in the past I could win on Unibet. But in the present I don't earn anything there.
My way of playing doesn't work there anymore.
Not enough foldequity, so semibluffs are not profitable.
And on the other hand, if I hit, I am not paid off.
I had hoped to get GOLD status in May but as I didn't make enough profit on Unibet I only got 460 strategypoints in April. Not enough for GOLDstatus.
It is a pity.

Didn't play on Unibet.
I practiced with Flopzilla.
I didn't spend much time on playing, because of lack of motivation.

I practiced with Flopzilla and ICMizer.
Things are going better and I have more motivation and enjoy the study and the play.
Also playing some live TN is nice. Being among other players and having fun together.
Not always alone behind the PC.
Well, it isn't in ONE year, but the $1000 is coming into sight!:f_drink:
I have made an overview and in total I have withdrawn $527. This was for PT4, Flopzilla and ICMizer. For the book of Jared Tendler. And for paying shares when I was in a program.
My bankroll at the moment is $415.
So total earnings $942.
I will earn another $58 and MY GOAL WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED!:f_biggrin:
Unfortunately things didn't go the way I thought.
I kept on loosing money at Unibet and stopped playing there after having played profitably there for a few years.
I now only play at Stars.
My bankroll at the moment is $340, which means that my total earnings are $867.
I have to keep on working to reach my $1000 goal.
Things are going so badly that I decreased the amount of play. It doesn't work anymore, no matter how much I study.
So after many years of play I will not spend many hours playing poker anymore.
Over the years I always expected to earn money when I would study and play a lot of hours.
But unfortunately it didn't work out for me.
I decided to go back to Unibet. Actually I have built my bankroll on Unibet and not on Stars or Party. So I will give Unibet a new try.
I think of the story of Mike Caro. Playing poker is like climbing a mountain. Your way will always go up and down again.
So keep on moving.
It is a pity, but I am not able to make any money anymore.
I have studied so much all the time, but I don't have any results. Whether I play aggro or passive, I loose several bb/100 hands. I have withdrawn my money again from Unibet, because it is only a waste of my bankroll there.
It is incredible how I could amuse me at that room for so many years and earn some money.
When I play there now I am irritated within half an hour, because the plays are so stupid, but yet I am not able to make money, so I become more irritated and frustrated. So it is better that I have quitted Unibet now.
I am sad that poker is not working for me anymore at this moment and I don't understand why. Variance, not good enough adapting to aggro players, scared money, boredom about the play, irritation about maniacs, loosing belief.
Now my pokerdream is over, I have the problem that Barry wrote once in an article. When I apply for a job there is a gap of 4 years on my CV-resume. I have spent the last 4 years on poker and cannot put that on my CV-resume.
Sorry to hear this.
But I guess you played poker in your spare time those four years right?
I mean you can't have lived of playing those micro stakes..
I recognize in what you are saying. My last 3 sessions where also very bad, not even variance, but people calling and raising with every draw and hitting it time after time. lost 9 buy-ins this way.
Yes, that is so irritating, when they make stupid calls and raises, and hit on the river nevertheless and your good investment is lost again.
I play on Stars now and there you are also often rivered, but the players are less maniacs than on Unibet.
Where do you play?

Q1: what is the 4bet-range of BTN when I squeeze on BB?
A1: JJ+, AK, AJs+, ATo (too weak to call, too strong to fold)
Some bluf4bets A6s – A9s
Q9s, Q8s, KJo
Q2: What is the callrange of BTN when I squeeze on BB?
A2: 77 – TT = 24 cb
ATs, AJs, AQs, some AKs = 10 cb
Sometimes some A2s – A5s = with 50% filter = 6 cb
A9o – AQo = 34 cb
KQs, KJs, KTs and KQo = 20 cb
QJs, QTs = 6 cb
JTs, J9s, T9s, 98s = 16 cb
Total is 111,5 combo’s
Versus this range I have 61% equity.
Q3: On the flop how many made hands does he have in his range?
A3: 55 is not in his range. So sets 88 and TT = 6 combo’s
This is 17% of his range.
TP with Tx = 20 cb = 59% of his range
FD = 8 cb = 25%
My equity is now only 21%.
Q4: What is a good squeeze-size?
A4: Maybe I should have squeezed bigger, f.e 4 or 4,5 times to $1,20 or $1,50
to generate some fold-equity.
Lemon says it is a good time to evaluate the year and set the goals for 2019.
I am going to think it over and probably I will start a new blog.
Because this title doesn't cover my poker journey anymore.
I wish you all a good and productive 2019.
