I like to check that flop in fact. The thing is betting one third is pretty much useless, gutshot will float etc so it should be bet bigger or nothing and you're gonna have a hard time anyway so I'd rather pot control and bluff induce.

I usually check flop then bet turn and river in these spots. I will call 2 streets of bets if they bet on the flop as well to bluff catch.
