Hello to all fellow grinders! :f_drink: My name is Darko, im 25 years old and i come from Serbia, currently living in Croatia, Zagreb. Since i have made my mind a few months ago to make my way in to the world of poker, to live out of it and enjoy in it, i found that the most convenient way to do so is to start with SNG STT. Up until about two months ago i was dedicated, but just not enough and i think that is the main reason for fail for most of poker players. Since the only thing that stands between us and success, and all the things we wish to achieve is hard work, iron will and commitment. I met Predrag here on PokerStrategy, his nick on PokerStars is IvicaIliev77 and also the man without whom i probably would not be here making this blog (I`m sure you all know him very well). This "blog" represents the progress i have made as poker player and a person, and situation in which i am now. No longer stuck in never ending circle of excuses, lack of will to keep going on. Now i know how lucky i really am, being one of his students for about month and a half now. So i just wanted to pay my respect to one of the best coaches out there. I will be making daily updates on my own weekly challenges, progress, ups and downs etc. You will notice in the future of this blog that when it comes to my goals, there is no "if", "maybe", "i hope" kind of things, just pure will and commitment to achieve them. I have learned and accepted the fact that if there is one thing that is certain and unchangeable thing in world of successful poker players and success in every other view, it is simply not to give up, will, commitment, you may call it what ever you want. I was not waiting beginning of the new years to start so i could start with this blog, it was Predrag that wanted me in some way to make up my mind here and now whether i want to dive into this deep sea and push beyond limits that were never there. And you can see what i have chosen :) Let me apologize for this "more then it should be creative" way to start a blog, maybe i should write novels or something instead of playing poker &diams; I will be posting and updating daily, starting January 3rd. I hope i will help you guys to improve and i sure know you will help me. All comments and thoughts are welcome! Cheers! &spades;_drink:

I am glad to see you back Dare. What format will you play? Will you stick to 6-max SNGs? I am looking forward to your updates and hope that we will continou to talk over skype about poker and some other things. And off-course to finally met in Zagreb or anywhere else. Keep up good work man!!

Well, i havent decided it yet, im gonna need to think about that real hard.

The only option besides SNGs is CG, at least for now. And final goal are MTTs, same as you :f_thumbsup:

I hope we will meet some where soon! :f_biggrin:

Hello again PS community! Since this is my old blog and i just renamed it, i will not spend time introducing myself, but rather give you some updates on current situation and plans.

Maybe some of you remember me as $1,5-$3,5 SNG player, i have spent some time playing on that format.
After some time i stopped playing full time and decided to find a full time job because i was BE player at best, anyway, you can find it all in this blog in previous pages

So ill go ahead and introduce you to some new things that i did not write yet here.
I am now still full time employed, got married and we got a baby also :f_thumbsup: Our son is now 1,5 yo and thing are good. Still living in Zagreb, Croatia but now considering moving to seaside, to Zadar since its better place to live for us and for little child.

Pokerwise, i did not really spend time improving. From time to time i am playing some live tournaments but that is about it. I still have ambitions for making a living out of poker, it is considerably harder these days to make it happen but it is still manageable without crazy talent, hard work ethic and consistency is all we need, right? :f_eek:
Now, my plan is to start investing time and effort into learning and playing smaller volume at start, SPIN & GO format, on Stars. It is a good format for me because i do not have so much free time + lots of weak players at lower limits + chance of hitting some of the multipliers.
Im going to start at $1 and move up following BR management.

Please feel free to hit me up with links to forums, blogs, videos etc. that i can use to get to know Spins and start studying it more deeply.
Also, if there is some one who is in similar stage or a bit more involved in Spins, also feel free to contact me and maybe we can help each other out by studying together and stuff like that.

Not grinding for now, just playing 2-3 tables maybe 30min - 1h per day and start studying.
Thank anyone how took time to read this and maybe greet me, ill keep updating in this form until i start grinding seriously and then ill start posting with more in depth analysis.
