Guys, any thoughts the remove of rake back in poker stars?

I am thinking on moving to Party Poker, because I can put lots of volume and the rake back can help a lot!

What do you guys think?

Thanks

If you think the rakeback is a fair compensation for the need to battle a bit more regs per table on clumsy software, then by all means, move :f_tongue: Or, if you like poker rooms that don't allow HUDs, wait until Party bans HUDs altogether next month and hit its tables then.

The HUD thing makes even better, because I don't use it...

Zoom tables are filled with regs with HUDs at Poker Stars...

The rewarding system at poker stars is so bad, I have give away 73 bucks of rake and got back chests that give spin and go of 0,25 and 0,50 cents...

Terrible IMO

Plus I did use pokerstrategy link to download PS and did wrote pokerstrategy when registering but no points are being added here.

Already talked to the support and nothing can be done...

Everything is pointing me to move away from PS lol

Keep in mind that the rake on Stars is much lower for micros. It's 3.5% at 2NL vs 5% on Party and that's 30% natural rakeback plus many pots on Stars are not raked at all, because they can't reach the minimum. On some rooms the rake can go as high as 10% and it does not matter what kind of rakeback they give. So the rakeback is pointless if it's not connected with the rake. Keep that in mind when you do your calculations.

Party no HUD and no export hands.

edit: new usernames, so you need new notes for players.

Fair enough. Stars wouldn't be my top choice if I had to play NL cash, but I don't like to play archaic, underpromoted poker formats, prefer to play novel or flagship ones (Spin & Gos are archaic already but must have become somewhat playable again due to the partnership with UFC :f_tongue: ).

As they say, more rake is better. Way better, I must add.

A slight disadvantage of a VIP system like Party's is that it punishes hard for procrastination. I mean, life is sad when there are 4 hours left in the week, I realise I need to be at the tables to get a $5 return on the next $15 of rake (plus the not so urgent $3 from an active reload bonus), but I'm not the only lazy bones at the site and hence $2.20 SnGs and $3 Spins are reggish AF on a Sunday night when they were supposed to be somewhat soft (despite being less attractive than Sunday MTTs), like Novembers and Decembers used to be the toughest months at Stars when there was Supernova Elite.

Thre's also Bodog if you are from South America or Canada. I really want try to play there to see if the field is soft as people say.

Between Party Poker and Stars, i prefer Stars. I think zoom pool is pretty soft in the micros even without rakeback is better option. Party Poker is tough as hell even on micros.
