I'm not going to focus 6-max turbos, sorry :f_frown: There's definitely merit to playing them to memorise what the opponents' ranges tend to be in Spin & Go Max when 2 places are paid (I'm sorry to hear that it's unavailable in regulated markets, such as the FR/ES/PT pool), but I can't rely on 6-max at those times when I intend to profit instead of learning and prefer less swingy ways of earning the same $EV per hour, which, as a rule of thumb, are the poker formats where I have the most experience.

(Newbies shouldn't attempt to play Spin Max nor Blast for a living - those are very special formats, which I don't mind playing only because I've been studying them intermittently with Holdemresources Calculator for over 2 years, and yet, I'm not crushing them, not even close.)

The plan is to grind 45-90-mans when the BR is below $80, and to take shots at $3 Spin Max when it's above $80 and I have nothing else to play :f_biggrin: So I guess that my typical day will consist of a 45-90-man session with a few Stars kilofield MTTs added, followed by spinning on some late nights after the 45-man traffic diminishes.

So, as you may have guessed, my sample sizes will be too small to draw conclusions about expected ROIs. I hope to earn those bucks really fast :f_biggrin:

Maybe I'm just running good, but beating microstake 45-90-mans and on-demands seems simple enough to me - just do the ICM range homework, play tighter than the Nash equilibrium until 3 players are left (which is when I switch to the Spin & Go style), waiting for overly loose opponents to bust each other, and don't overcomplicate postflop :f_biggrin:

HU turbos are good for BR building indeed. I surely considered them, and my reason for rejecting them was that it's hard to put in the volume. Even 3 concurrent tables are probably too many, but when grinding a maximum of 2 tables, you sometimes have to 1-table waiting for a new opponent to show up.

Actually, I believe it's better to play 4-man HU shootouts than 2-mans whenever possible - you get an opportunity to outplay 2 opponents for the price of one (i.e. pay the same rake for twice more action). Yes, the variance is thrice higher, but it's compensated by the much higher ROI.

in my opinion you have to start at the low end after you are accustomed to this limit you increase the limits and the variance of the tournaments!
