I used to squeeze 3x + 1bb for being OOP, but I think someone here commented about that and, since then, I've been squeezing larger, like 4x. Should I go even bigger, OOP?
Because the UTG+1 player had looked so passive, I thought I'd end up playing only against him postflop or even going broke pre against a possible QQ+.
So I were a bit surprised when UTG folded but MP continued.
Flop: (55 BB, 2 players) 9♣ K♦ 6♦
Hero bets 26.2 BB, MP+1 calls 26.2 BB
Thoughts and questions:
Spoiler
MP had an agression factor of 5, but 40 hands is so little as sample size and I didn't want to risk giving him a freecard, OOP, so I decided to cbet, rather than trying a check/raise.
BTW, if a pot is that big, if I cbet anything around 1/2 pot, I would have to shove a lot of turns, right? Or should I plan to cbet small to not commit myself with the pot with an overpair hand without any kind of backdoor draw?
Turn: (107.4 BB, 2 players) 3♠
Hero bets 68.8 BB and is all-in, MP+1 calls 68.8 BB
Thoughts and questions:
Spoiler
Turn is mainly a blank.
I'm still unsure if I should shove here (no idea about villain's range), but I didn't want to cbet small and have to fold to a scary card OTR or giving villain any freecard.
