i wanted to play 100 6 max hyper turbo sng's with a buy-in of 11$.
of course it was for grinding and for the fun of it. but i also wanted to know my ROI at a serious sample of BI's (i know 100 is still small but its something) and i liked to see which are realistic expectations of both varince and win/cashes. so i tracked several things.
here i'll share the results and the data:

and now the actual total of all the 100 sng's:
1: + 219,28
which means my ROI is close to 20%. just a few cents short of the 220
here the additional statistics:
longest win streak: 4
longest cash streak: 4
longest losing streak: 7
amount of wins: 28
amount of 2nd places: 10
amount of losses: 62
conclusion:
as expected, it seems there is quite a lot of variance in the hyper turbo SnG's. i had a loss streak of 7 BI's, twice of 6 BI's and a few more with 1 cash in between. i also got a lot of luck by winning 4 times in a row and another time 4 cashes in a row of which one 2nd place.
also a ROI of 20% seems like a good amount to me (if it's not feel free to mention)
another very interesting point imo is the win/cash ration and the cash/loss ratio. since the raw odds are equal to get 1st place or 2nd placeit seems like a massive difference to get 28 wins and 10 second places. i think it means that my HU play gets pretty good. however the flip side of this is that if i had the same amount of cashes but the wins were equal (19 wins and 19 losses) i would have meant my winrate would have dropped with 114,30$ making it an ROI of just about 9,5%. of course this is still profit, but it feels like it isn't as good as it could be, i assume it means my early stage strategy is in need of improvement.
maybe not related to the statistics, but i also felt like i made several unnessecary mistakes in the beginning of the challenge, however i quickly found and fixed them.
overall the challenge was fun to do and i think i have learned a thing or two from it
