Hi, this was quite a weird situation _evil:

SB is a real donk (maybe cause of the BI? ?( )

I dont usually play this limit. But im not confident with my tournament play, so i was multi tabling this 10 cents tourneys to see if i can make any profit (actually i finished 4th this tourney _cool: )

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10+$0.00 Tournament, 25/50 Blinds (9 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

saw flop

SB (t3240)
BB (t1445)
UTG (t1240)
UTG+1 (t1715)
MP1 (t3240)
MP2 (t1180)
MP3 (t1410)
CO (t1420)
Hero (Button) (t3305)

Hero's M: 44.07

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q♥, J♠
UTG calls t50, 2 folds, MP2 calls t50, 2 folds, Hero calls t50, SB calls t25, BB checks

Flop: (t250) J♣, A♣, Q♠ (5 players)
SB bets t450, 1 fold, UTG calls t450, 1 fold, Hero raises to t1700, SB calls t1250, 1 fold

Turn: (t4100) A♠ (2 players)
SB bets t650, Hero folds

Total pot: t4100

My line here:

Preflop: I think its a good limpe here. Im deepstack and I think I have a good postflop (with no limpers i would raise here).

Flop: Pretty good flop for me. Vilain makes a donkbet.I put him on a flush draw, Ax,Q8+ or J9+. I make a value raise here.

Turn: He got me with Ax, QQ, QK, JJ, KJ. I only beat him with a low Q or J or if he was trying to catch a flush draw.

Thanks everyone.

Nh, nothing more you can do here. You could think of folding it preflop but call is ok as well.

With bet and call I think you either fold or shove on this flop.
Dont think there is much point putting half your stack in to fold the turn.
Given that SB is donk, UTG could be calling his bet with any A or Q, most likely Ax. For that reason I shove over.
As played, no choice but to fold to turn bet.

i shove this flop as well.
this board is very dangerous but usually you are ahead right now, so you should get your money in.
an all in bet is no big overbet and it leaves you with the best chances to win the hand right away, which is what you want with this flop.

as plyed its hard to fold with 7:1 odds to such a small bet when you are so comitted, but now the ace had totally crushed your hand and he can easliy have it.

keep yourself out of such bad situation with pushing all your chips in on that flop.
