PokerStars - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 4 players
Hand converted by Holdem Manager

CO: $5.00 (100 bb)
Hero (BTN): $5.67 (113.4 bb)
SB: $5.02 (100.4 bb)
BB: $5.67 (113.4 bb)

SB posts $0.02, BB posts $0.05

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.07) Hero has J♦: J♠:
fold, Hero raises to $0.12, SB calls $0.10, fold

Flop: ($0.29, 2 players) T♣: 5♥: 9♥:
SB checks, Hero bets $0.20, SB raises to $0.60, Hero calls $0.40

Villain raising flush and straight draws on the flop?

Turn: ($1.49, 2 players) 4♣:
SB bets $1.05, Hero calls $1.05

turn blank so nothing change.

River: ($3.59, 2 players) 5♠:
SB bets $3.25 and is all-in, Hero calls $3.25

So this river call? Villain 3bet TT+ preflop? 55 unlikely now. Im not sure villain will x raising 44 on the flop.

Results: $10.09 pot ($0.42 rake)
Final Board: T♣: 5♥: 9♥: 4♣: 5♠:

Spoiler

SB shows K♥: T♥:: (Two Pair, Tens and Fives)
(Pre 33%, Flop 51%, Turn 32%)

Hero shows J♦: J♠:: (Two Pair, Jacks and Fives)
(Pre 67%, Flop 49%, Turn 68%)

Hero wins $9.67

We are 4handed and Hero is otb
that means the x/r otf is not as strong as it would be 6max utg vs sb for example
that means villain at least has all sds and all kinds of fds
villain of course can also have 55, 99 and T9, but not very often TT+ (3bet pre) T5 or 95
so flop is an easy call
turn is very safe and nothing changed so also easy call
river is also a good card because it pairs the card he would not x/r for value with a lot and we beat some 2 pairs now

I think we are ahead often enough in this exact situation, given the odds, that this is a call even on this limit

How can he have 2 pairs? He either has a full house or you have the better 2-pair. The river is perfect for you he cannot have a five, you now beat T9 and all flushes and straight missed. You lose only vs the lone 99 that is still possible, he might 3-bet even this one too though. You absolutely cannot fold, if you fold OTR you should have folded OTF, so it does not make sense.

I think the way you thought it out you got it spot on, the raise OTF are normally draws such as combo draws ect yes you will sometimes see villain show up with sets here but normally this tends to happen OTT imo. As for the rest of the hand and the way it run out easy call down..

Good question. Is raising too aggressive? Villain of course can also have set.
