One of my good Poker Strategy friends informed me that he disagreed with my post flop style of slow playing, trapping, and benefiting from my adversaries’ mistakes. His winning style is to play Full Ring in a straight, forward fashion. I agree that several styles of play can be profitable. I did not hesitate one second to check the Turn. This is an example of my love of slow play. All villains wisely checked the Turn. However, one Villain made the mistake of betting big with a strong flush scare board. Of course, I pushed. This is an example of seeking to benefit from villains’ mistakes. Also, my style of play makes Full Ring to be very interesting. Those who say Full Ring is BORING do not play like me. Please do not interpret this post as a silly assertion that my style is superior. Absolutely not! Many better players have made much more money with other approaches.
