(FR) JJ - overpair vs check/raise mw

It's a interesting spot for a 3bet pre-flop against a player that could isolate the limpers with a wide range. As played I don't think the over caller has often a monster. he can easy have a 1 pair hand as well and I would isolate with a 3bet shove. if he has 2 pair or better it's to bad.

What do you play JJ for, here ? Setmining ? Overpair ?
Look at the SPR preflop, you could call if you played deep or very deep but CO is 66bb deep so your equity is better HU when you don't want to just setmining (which would be good with 22-77) so I guess 3bet is way better than just call..
Now, your sizing flop doesn't mean a lot, be carreful.. look again at SPR and think about it.. question is not what should you do once Vilains moves but what you had to do with your sizing..

Don't recall that exactly, but I guess I only called there because CO was more on the passive side and there was no guarantee those limpers would fold to a 3bet, so I didn't want to isolate a villain holding a better hand.
