biannual = twice a year
biennial = every two years
So you are indeed correct. 
Note, however, that there is a lot of widespread confusion about this word, and "every two years" is often considered an alternative meaning:

We're going with Prim's awesome suggestion and doing a coaching this week devoted entirely to low-mid pocket pairs. How do you play them pre-flop and post? Shove/fold/3-bet spots pre-flop. Giant pots with sets. Bluff-catching rivers. We're going to look at the tricky pocket pairs this week!

"It was just not my weather today" - just too cold, too hot or too rainy to do low/mid pocket pair-discussions.
"My arm/leg/foot was hurting" - I had a headache and couldn´t think as clearly as always
"I haven´t played forever" - Yes, we haven´t played low/mid pocket pairs forever that´s why we had to do it!
"I just recovered from an injury" - I just recovered from flu and had to prepare something very quickly.
"The balls were bad" - My computer is bad and that´s the only thing I could do! Gonna buy a new one asap.
"My forehand/backhand/serve was not working" - My brain was not working on that day due to ...*insert reason here*
Prim´s absolute favourite and ultimate excuse for an unforced error:
"Oops I slipped out"
