Questions and thoughts:

Spoiler

I still have a hard time trying to decide if I should cbet certain hands vs 2-3 villains or check/call them. Like this one vs 2 villains.
Same thought that crossed my mind here https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=497753 . Although there I have a lot of a weaker hands vs even more villains.

I have a TPGK and the possibility of nice turns, but there still a chance one villain would raise me OTF and make my life miserable.

Turn: (35.5 BB, 2 players) 2♥
SB checks, Hero bets 23 BB, SB calls 23 BB
Questions and thoughts:

Spoiler

Do I still have a value hand here? To me, that turn was a total blank.
Thought about cbetting 1/2, but that would disclosure my hand strength, I think.

River: (81.5 BB, 2 players) 5♠
SB bets 39.5 BB, fold
Questions and thoughts:

Spoiler

Villain may have a busted draw here for sure. But he could have random 2 pairs or even a weird str8 completed by the river.
After so many bad calls OTR, I decided to fold this one.

Spoiler

SB wins 79 BB

you have a 13 out wrap on the flop wich has 40% equity vs a set plus you block topset. its a bet/broke flop hand, even mulitway. check ProPokerTools for evaluating hand strength.

I would pot the turn as a semi bluff.

the river fold is okay and I would note that villain seems to chase dominated straightdraws too far.

You deal with a loose passive villain. Not sure he'sgoodenough in folding to make a semi bluff on the turn profitable.

Maniac response here: I would gladly get it in on the flop or on the turn, I would potbet the flop (also considering UTG is just 57BB deep) and bet bigger on the safe turn. Easy game

this one doesn't seem strong enough to stackoff flop.
isnt 40% equity not good in plo where the edges are small?
seems like this is exactly what villains count on, having a 60/40.
3 way i'd check since it's likely opponents can have a better hand and gii once improved.
something like 16-18 outs sounds more like a flop stackoff rather than 13.
just thinking out loud since i don't know a thing about plo.

Dude, this is one of the best hands you can get in PLO.

You cannot wait for 0.000x times you get 17/11-wrap+topset+2-bdfd+idkw ... (idkw=i dont know what),
you will virtually never hit that hand. It is more likely to hit a royal flush on a paired flop.

Some facts to consider:

-You need 43% to allin break-even (if we include the $-amount from the cbet).

-You have 43% even if villain is check-raising allin sets-only.

-Few players are tight enough to really just raise sets-only.

-39/17 over 480 hands is not indicating that he is a tight player.

-You block the most likely set villain wants to gii: top-set.

-You are never in bad shape because he cant have anything better than top-set.

-You could get it in as a 75:25 fav against the bare wrap.

-He might have some even worse stuff here. :f_confused:

In general top-pair+13-nutwrap is an auto stack-off up to spr 13 afaik.

Although you have just top pair on the flop, that is a damn strong hand! And with the nut wrap you are ensured to have good equity versus anything. You should dance around the table for a while and then bet big. If raised, get it in. On the turn, pot it.
