NL25, how to plan the hand in 3BP

I'm inclined to play more passively against fish because they'll generally call lighter, so you semibluff has less fold equity. I would probably not try to get it in as fast as possible. But I'm also lost on what exact line is best.

It depends a lot on what his 3bet call range is. If he folds most weak hands, A4s is a great light 3bet hand. You block a lot of his strongest hands with the A and the suitedness gives you playability postflop. If he's fishy enough to call 3bets with weak hands, then we just stay on a reasonably tight 3bet range and can increase our size a little.

If we don't know, then I'd have to agree. Fish call wider. So my default perception of him is that he also calls 3bets too loosely, so our 3bet doesn't generate enough fold equity.
