This is fine. Check/raising the flop is correct too for sure.
Calling turn is not that bad vs that size too.

Check/raising flop in position will be a tough move to make :f_wink:
Turn I would consider calling as well for only 14,8bb more to win a pot of 74,5bb in total.
The J♣: could be a scare card for him as well.

I would raise the flop. Villains range must be two overcards or an overpair. Raising flop, if villain call, you have more information about his hand's strengh and makes turn easier to play.

As played, i would call turn by the reasons mention aboved.
