KK on a flush board with flush draw

What range do yo think SB had pre-flop that could call your ISO raise with?

Such a shove is very polarized -- he has a flush, or nothing.
In this case he had top pair, which on a monochrome board is pretty much nothing
If he has anything but the A♦: you have outs even if he has the flush
You also have a hand that is well ahead of his possible non-flush range.

Does he have the flush?
If he did have one, wouldn't he try to get max value from it?

It's a gutsy call for sure, but the more I think of it, the more I like it.

Do you have any history on SB?

Hi,

The only info that I have on the SB is a label for a weaker player - which means that I have seen him playing with less than 100BB or open limping in an early position.

These types of players usually play a very wide range pre-flop so it's hard for me to put them on a range, it could be anything from AK to J2.

The shove on the flop seemed like he is trying to protect something on the flop - while playing I was thinking either this is a set, a straight, a flush or the villain is tilting and shoving two pair or top pair with a flush draw.

Calculating the equity agains straights, sets and flushes puts us at about 27%, and 35% if I add 2 pair hands in as well.
If I add AQ, KQ and JQ to the range our equity is about 48%.

Looking back at the hand, I am starting to think that this might not be a profitable call if the oponent is not tilting . The only thing that I have going for me here is the bet sizing - the over shove seems like tilt, I think that the villain would try to slowplay the nuts (a flush) here

Next question:
Let's say he does decide to slow play it, and bets 1/2 pot or less.
What do you do then?
If you called the flop, how would you play the turn?

I would be quite happy to call this shove. From my experience they dont just shove top of their range out of the blue. On drawy boards they sometimes do this with medium strength hand for whatever reason. Maybe they like dont know what to do with it and dont want to make a decision on a bad turn card so this way gets this pressure of his chest. But who knows. So I like your line but I would definitely raise more preflop - 8 or 9 bbs. Anyway a rule of thumb for me, I am not afraid to call overpairs to these shoves on drawy boards. You will almost always be better.

Preflop higher sizing 9bbs, postflop I like call with Kd because we have good chance on higher flush then SB can have.. I folding this spot without reades..... and Kd its sick. But i am nit

If he bets 1/2 pot on flop, I would call, then call or check back turn, and go for a value bet on the river. I would not fold the river to a triple barrel, because I do not think he is only triple barreling this board with the A high flush.
