AA BU vs BB

I don’t understand the logic behind your plan, sorry if that sounds rude I’m not trying to be. If you put villains range on TPGK and better AA is not in a great spot, if we are giving villain range of possible sets, 2-pairs and straights and some top paired hands I don’t think raising is wise.

Well sorry I probably didnt make myself clear. Besides strong hands I also put him on many draws and hands like KQ, JQ, TQ which I beat but which have a lot of equity against me. So I am raising to get value from these hands but I dont think I have 3 streets of value, thus raise flop, bet turn, check river. If he raises me somewhere on the way I know I am beat and can let go. Hope it makes more sense now

I think the problem is when you 3-bet the flop. What types of ranges do you suspect will call your flop re-raise ? I think alot of 2-pair combos, sets, straights,basically a bunc of hands that have great equity versus AA, these are the types of hands that you are going to be called by 3-betting the flop. Go to equilab and input villains range with 2-pairs,sets,straights and good draws and you will see how crappy of a spot AA will be in. With a good hand you want to keep your equity higher than your opponents that's why I prefer to call the flop, keep villains range wider and AA in a decent position, if villain had say a weak King this would be a disaster when we raise flop and he folds it, especially if he leads out with these types of hands and thinks its a winner, I would just call flop

After your raise on the flop and villain calls villain should have a strong range, I think I would check the turn because his equity will be higher than ours.

Yeah youre probably right. I analyzed the hand a little deeper in Equilab and now I like the call OTF option better as well
