Feedback needed - Stats for today's $1 SNG's

I know the sample size is incredibly small but I just want to make sure that I'm going in the right direction as a newbie. What do my stats suggest as things stand?

I've played 19 regular Full Ring SNG's on 888 Poker today, playing 1034 hands in total.

BASIC STATS

VPIP - 25.71
PFR - 19.88
Total Aggression Factor - 2.39
Total Aggresion Frequency - 43.17
WTSD - 48.48
WSD - 58.04

I'm pleased with my days effort, winning 3, finishing 2nd in 4 and finishing 3rd in 3. ROI of just under 33% and ITM over 50%. But I'm not sure how my stats make me look. I worry that sometimes I am too tight, but very loose on the SB as my VPIP jumps to 46.79.

Thanks for any help in advance. I hope that you don't me asking questions too much :f_drink:

Hi Ch0pperReid,
Well, you're right -- sample size is too small, but if you had 10K hands with those stats, you would likely be doing well.

Thank you VS for telling me how many hands I need before any judgments can start to be made.

If I can keep the early levels of enthusiasm, then hopefully I'll have 10k hands within a week. πŸ™‚

Use positional report to show how you play from each position. E.g. raise first in, call, 3bet. That will tell lot more when you have bigger sample.

I did suspect whether I should be doing that or not. I'll screen shot a picture and paste it here once I've reached a minimum of 10k hands etc.

Thank you for your advice

10 thousand hands or 10 thousand tournaments?

10 thousand hands.
Playing cash games, you can get tendencies in fewer hands but in tournaments, with increasing blind levels, you are playing differently depending on blind levels, stack sizes and how many players left vs how many paid.

100 or 200 tournaments should give you a decent sample I think.

Others might have different ideas...

Cheers,
VS
