Troll in the dungeon!

Finally, got time to play MTTs on Saturday - and Harrier´s got time too, so we played out "Troll Freeroll" (German Freeroll on Titanpoker). I also played 2.20 $ God of the Arena and 2.20 $ KO 300 $ Gtd. on 888. Besides, I played some PLO-tourneys but that´s for my other blog. Haven´t played Holdem for a long time, so I didn´t expect really much - and of course not my A-game. :f_ugly::f_ugly::f_ugly:

And there we go: One troll made it to the final table ♠_love:

The tourney went pretty well for me for about 1,5 hours. I could double up once and kick a Villain out. But then came nothing ..... I was card-dead. Meanwhile Harrier was placed at my table and he was big stack. He early could triple up with a set JJJ, so he sat there, being one of the chip-leaders. After a long time of getting nothing and just folding, my stack shrank to about 10 BB. Could steal here and there a bit but that was it. Finally, after about an hour of desperate folding and stealing, I pick up 77 on the BTN. Time to jam, folks! So, I jam, SB folds and guess who sits in the BB and calls? ♠_ugly:♠_ugly:♠_ugly: Yes! Right! My "troll of the year" correctly calls with QKo and gets there, hits a beautyful queen and a mighty king and sends me into the dungeon.....♠_biggrin:♠_ugly::mdr:

Meanwhile I busted out of the God of the Arena with AK and TPTK, I ran into a set JJJ.

In the 300 Gtd KO I made an idiot mistake and ran with J-high flush into Q-high flush. Boom, shortstack. But I managed to survive and could double up from time to time, permanently being shortstack cause nothing decent came, but my emergency all-ins were successful and I made it to survive ♠_ugly:. Eventually, I busted with KJs, despearelty jammend and was up against ATo. Flop broguht a king but river was an A. So, out I was but surprisingly, I found out that I could somehow drag myself ITM. So, finished somehow ITM.

Meanwhile I was railing Harrier because I hoped, at least one of us trolls makes it to the FT (especially with my chips ). I watched Harrier playing very well, taking pot after pot, taking some stacks and indeed: There he was! FT! ♠_cool:♠_thumbsup::banana: Villain after Villain busted, Harrier could manage to build up his stack a bit more and found himself HU! :banana::banana: Villains stack was 3times bigger than his, unfortunately Harrier couldn´t double up anymore and lost a flip 33 vs A6o.

But Congratulatons for a solid and nice 2nd place, Harrier! Good job! :appl::appl::appl::appl:

As for me: of course it was not my best Holdem play. Actually, I think I played badly but what can you expect? Haven´t played that game for ages! :f_ugly::f_ugly::f_ugly:

And .......yes....as you can guess...and as expected .... made a deep run with four cards. Again. ♠_ugly:
