AJo - value bet river?

This is so contrary to how I played it, I might need to rethink my strategy 🤯
SB was an unknown player. Board is not that drawy, OTT other than JT. I thought if I bet turn there are these scenarios:
1. Villain has 2pair+ and calls and leads river, or raises in which cases I fold (x/r river even more sick)
2. Villain has weak SD value in which case they will probably fold to a 3/4 turn bet which is not profitable either
So I tried bluff induce because that's what I thought is most profitable.
However, my mistake is the assumption that villain folds to a large bet with a weak SD value hand, I guess. Probably the player pool tendency tends towards calling stations, right?

On more drawy boards I would bet larger on the flop and also bet turn.

I think you got the strat backwards..
On a draws board, you can induce bluffs. But only if you're Oop.. then you can check call the river. (Don't do it on the turn because you don't wanna give away free cards on a drawy board)

But on this board, what holdings would villain bluff with?
Not much missed draws out there.
Just bet, bet, bet. And keep te bets small so you keep bad aces and middle pairs in there.

I think I bet small three times or I bet twice medium size.

It depends on the villain. If he is an unknown, I might just bet twice.

Now I see it. Thanks. It is better to bet as long as villain doesn't wake up and starts raising. Otherwise, I miss too much value.
