Villain seems reggy and seems to be sitting these games. Has been implementing both limping and minraising though I think he was limping most of time with 20bb or less. Had been barreling lot on boards that favour his range more.
So preflop clear check as I don't think we want to really ever start raising this bad suited holding.
Flop comes JT6 with two diamonds. I would not raise this much as villain has so much more easily hands like TT+ and all sort of broadway holdings. 98/K9 is on both of our range and obviously I will have hands like JT, QT, QJ some portion of time but I would tend to mix sometimes 3bb raise versus limp with those. Anyway as I don't have that many made hands that could x-r I won't raise much semibluffs either.
This hand being fairly weak I went with call. Though I suppose you could argue that raising this could make more sense compared to some bigger ones as hitting bottom pair has little value.
Anyway I hit flush and villain bets half pot again. We could raise here but again villain range has so much more strong stuff and he is aggro so I kind of like mainly calling flushes to protect my range.
River is nasty as villain can obviously take this line with all sort of flushes and full houses. Not sure if he would shove AQ or straights. Probably not trips as calling 2xpot shove with enough weaker would require quite hero call tendencies imo. So maybe AK, K9 and 3d4d for value that I beat.
Jx not bluffing but maybe some 6xd or some single diamond combos.
Now my line doesn't look that strong so I don't personally see I could ever fold flush versus perhaps reggy and aggro opponent. But would some people think of hero fold? Perhaps raising on flop or turn?
