NL 6max "Fast/Zoom vs. normal"

Q1: Can only speak for myself, I am currently loosing at NL2 Zoom and winning at NL2 regular. I think, most regulars prefer to play Zoom over regular tables.

Q3: That sounds reasonable to me.
Q4: If you have a win-rate better than -100 BB/100 from BB or better than -50 BB/100 from SB you are making +EV decisions.

Different people find zoom more profitable, others find it lest profitable.
I think that this is one area where a player's personal playing style is a huge factor.

My suggestion would be to set aside some time and play 1000 hands of each.
Don't look at your stats.
Instead examine your thoughts and feelings during the session.
Where did you feel more comfortable?
Where did you feel more "on top of your game"?
Now look at your stats. (small sample size)
Oh -- and play a touch tighter on zoom until you know who the nits are and who the crazies are. They become apparent relatively soon.

If you can play 4 tables of zoom without making mistakes you will be playing roughly 1000 hands per hour (PokerStars NL 2 or NL 5)
On normal tables (also PokerStars) the hand/hr range from 50/table to 150 per table -- so 200 to 600 hands per hour.
Really good for rake/points, but can kill your bankroll if you make too many mistakes playing 4 tables.
2 zoom tables is the same hands/hour as 4 normal, so just play whatever you like the best.

If you always fold your blinds, you will lose 100 BB/hundred in the BB and 50 BB/hundred in the small blind.
If your winrates are better than than that, then you are winning in those positions.

I love Snap on 888 I am there on NLH2 right now. Globally prefer 6max only.
Maybe the thing with those fast tables is

opponents folding more to raises pf and a following conti, even betting an unraised flop hu is quite often folded.
I can only assume, but I see myself from time to time not playing a marginal hand after a min raise or 2BB raise pf which I probably would raise in normal NLH because of lack of action there. Especially when I am not in the blinds, so not giving up blinds I put in.
On the other hand it is on my current levels quite often that they either fold immediately after my 3bet or the conti on the flop.

This week I started NLH on Winner. They have only the normal speed available, it is super soft. There I am now on $4/$2, just kept short on $2/$1.
I can get along with both speeds, after I had a slightly devastating session on normal speed on 888 with immediate position on an ultra maniac. (90% hands played 90% of them raised pf / allin on flop or turn) Now I would be more patient there.

Be patient about the Gold status, don't try to get it all in one. Make sure to have the silver sitting then it will come from alone. Learn the stuff piece by piece.
I once started like this too having all strategy courses available as soon as possible. Was not helpful at all. Having gold so fast you think you know everything and forget to read it.
I guess in English it says "haste makes waste".

Unfortunately haven't analyzed my blind game yet. Not playing with Pokertracker or any similar software yet.
