What if i have poker account linked to PokerStrategy and then wiull move to another country, where i have to make a new poker account from different poker client.
What will happen then ? Can i open a new poker acccount from different client and still be able to get pokerstrategy points ?
Thank you.
Hi Master4Ever,
Without having specifics, one can only speculate.
For some rooms you would not need to make a new account just because you moved to a different country.
For others you might.
And the rules can change, so anything that is true now, might not be true when it is time to move.
However...
If you can use the same client and the same account in the new country, you would still receive PokerStrategy.com strategy points, but you would need to be certain that you updated your address on both the poker room and at PokerStrategy.com -- this would almost certainly required new ID verification in one or both locations.
Same client, but new account required. In that case I suggest that you create a customer support ticket Follow the link then click the
beside "Open a new ticket"
You would do this before you created the new account in the new location.
If you cannot use the previous client in the new location (for example you have a PokerStars account and move to the States) then just head to PokerStrategy.com and use one of the links to sign up to a new poker site.
If (or when) you're facing this decision, just check with customer service to get the proper advice for your particular situation.
All the best,
VS
pokerstars i know you need toget new acount if you have eu acount and move to asian ore latino country only to ask the pokersite you play in what to do when the time are ready fore you
Yes.
So that is the thing.
I am planning to move in to 2 different country in 5 years.
So i am thinking is there any point at all opening poker accounts through PokerStrategy ?
Because, lets assume that i have opened 5 different poker accounts to 5 different rooms through PokerStrategy,
and now i move to asia where i have to open new accounts.
What will happen then ? Will i be able to open them again through the same PokerStrategy account what i did use before and save my PokerStrategy account and just update poker room nicknames ?
Or do i have to make totally new PokerStrategy account as well and lose old one ?
