Good Fold or Crying Call?

This was against an aggresive fish.

I thought he could have the flush already on the turn but I made a call to see if I completed the full house.

Finally on the river I thought for 1 minute and folded.

He then flashed the Q♥: on me.

Now, the only hand that made sense to me was Q♥:7♥: from the way it was played.

I don't see any QT, QJ, QK played so aggresively.

But I could be wrong.

Was this a good fold in the long run or I had to make the call anyways.

Or QQ
Any time your gut tells you to fold, and your brain tells you to call (or vice versa) go with your gut.

If he had QQ he would most likely re-raise before the flop already. On turn I would re-raise into all-in, as there is a great chance that you have the best hand here against an aggressive loose opponent + you still have 22% chance of hitting the full house. Turn for me it's either fold (if I put him on 66 or completed flush and I know he is a TAG) or all in against the LAG, like described before, but never call.

Fold on the river is OK πŸ‘

Thank you for your comments.

Interesting.

I didn't see the check/raise jam on the turn maybe because my gut was telling me I was behind.

It was either fold there, or rejam if I thought I was ahead.

Thank you for that insight.

well played. it's hard for him to have pure air here, and I think he probably has some sort of boat or flush when he plays it like that.
surprised to see QX here but a loose fish could potentially have Q7 Q6
