PLO50 AQJ9ss donk bet or x-r flop in 4way 3bet pot?

I've had many of these kind of spots recently. I usually try to not build the pot as much pre and just see a flop. Still means the very best hands are gonna be 3bet and 4bet ofc. With the read that BB 3bets a lot I like the call. For example I would call Aces in the spot too. I think your hand is a little too weak to 4bet and it would suck if they call and you're oop. So I like it as played.

On the flop I think it's about reads really. I don't know how the dynamic was but unless I got good reads that any villain is happy to fire even 4handed in 3bet pot I think I like a donk bet. You will get tons of calls of weaker draws and even if you get it in vs two pair you're still in great shape. About size I'm not sure anywhere between 50-75% should be fine. I mean you really crush this board.

On turn as played you can only play c/c. And as you said bet and face a raise is a disaster. I think by donking flop the hand will play much easier on later streets.

So if we donk bet half pot what would be plan for different turns? Easy for most turns that improve my hand but on other ones hand is fairly mediocre strength.

Good side of check I suppose is that either pot stays smaller or we can commit ourselves with x-r.

The flopdecision is interesting but you could have made a lot of money preflop by 4betting. You are a favourite against BB and obviously against the capped ranges from the other guys

We did go through that equity but problem is that ultimately our equity was just around 25% if it's 4way all-in versus wide ranges. Of course if we could get some folds with 4bet then it would be nice option but not sure if that would happen. At least BB was not folding and then other guys might just go along

I mean reads are just super important in these spots. But from my experience even the super aggro players slow down a bit in 3bet 3-4way pots. If chances are high that either villain stabs the flop c/r is great otherwise I think donk bet can be a good option too.

The only bad turns are like 6,7,8 imo. All the other card are okish or great. Now that I though about it I think 3/4 donk is decent and then pot the turn unless it went on the flop already.
