Insane overbet on the river

i'd fold the river too. Calling a bet like this is extremely high variance, not good for the mental aspect if you lost the pot. You get raked a shit ton too if you call, and at best we're chopping.
Wouldn't give it too much thought, he could have some werid 67 or 36 so folding is fine imo.

The CS inside me wanna snap call river, the guy should not have any 76 or 63 there. At the end i think it's a split pot most of the time. But we're never safe in 5NL to see 76s or 63 or even any spew value cut... I think we should play safe and hero fold without info even it's annoying. And this guys 100% deserve a bad reg tag, whatever he have his line does not makes sense

Btw A3o is probably a fold pre from this pos, especially when you're saying there's regs at blinds

You 5 handed so I guess opening A3o is okay. The only way I see him showing up with something like 36 or 67 is if they had a back door flush to go with it, I see that alot nowadays. Also you bet the flop so small so hands like 54s or 33, 44 will come along at least one street. It looks like I am the only person that thinks you should have called the river. 22, 55, 44, 88 as well as 2 pairs that I think you are good. I raise that turn and stack off.
You said in one of your other threads your brother thinks you are just aggro and you say in this one you haven't seen this reg do anything weird, but how many times has he seen you do something weird:thinking: We've seen it a ton
I don't think he has you on a straight, I think he thinks you have a A with a good kicker or 2 pair.

Thank you all for the analysis. I guess this is a loose open from CO so I can fold this sometimes and bet stronger on the flop too. About the check/raise on turn, I usually use this line when I'm out of position and I want to take the initiative back. When I'm in position I usually just call, to let bluff stay in and check/raise river instead. But I don't know if this is the right play. Maybe in this turn I had to defend my hand against more nasty river and in this turn I can safely go all in if he reraises back, since 63 is the only hand that beats me. Jiffy as you said, maybe he was putting me on a A or 2 pair as you said, maybe he was expecting a check/raise on the turn.
