PokerStars - $0.02 NL - Holdem - 8 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (UTG+1): 108 BB
MP: 91.5 BB
MP+1: 185 BB
CO: 122.5 BB
BTN: 100 BB
SB: 355.5 BB
BB: 112.5 BB
UTG: 106.5 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has T♣ A♦

fold, Hero raises to 4 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, SB calls 3.5 BB, fold

Flop: (9 BB, 2 players) 7♠ A♥ 8♠
SB checks, Hero bets 5.5 BB, SB calls 5.5 BB

Turn: (20 BB, 2 players) 5♣
SB checks, Hero bets 13 BB, SB calls 13 BB

River: (46 BB, 2 players) 3♠
SB checks, Hero checks - Here I am not sure if value bet, or check is right move. He can have any pocket pair made to trips, but then I will expect any agression on turn. I will have position I will bet, but here I decide to check because of possible river bet on his site, choosing pot control with good hand but not monster. Am I missing value here or its good spot for pot control?

SB shows 6♣ 8♣ (One Pair, Eights)
(Pre 39%, Flop 22%, Turn 30%)
Hero shows T♣ A♦ (One Pair, Aces)
(Pre 61%, Flop 78%, Turn 70%)
Hero wins 44.5 BB

If villain is a calling station you could go for a value bet, but it's really thin.
Without reads i wuld play the same.

@sdk:f_thumbsup:

Dependent on villain, as said.

If the river was a blank say a 3 of hearts then I would value bet some where around 50-60% something that maybe an 8x would call with and not enough that if you get raised you can't fold.

KEEP GRINDING
