Indeed, but most of the time I would fold KJo pre-flop against a 5x isolation raise. Especially if villain is unknown or tight.

Hmm personally I dont like preflop 3bet. Call a passive play for cheap showdown is option , or just fold.

If you raising flop, try make it liiitle bit bigger.

When UTG go all in after limp/call , flop call what you think is range what he doing this with?

Don't forget hero is the 3better and is on the BTN.
I would most likely fold the turn. Tough to think villain will call a raise on flop and shove the turn with top pair or weaker.

On NL2 I would not 3bet preflop KJo against 2 opponents.
As played I would feel lost on the flop, but I would just the bet and adjust on the turn where I fold on the most hands.

One thing that really helps me still with my preflop game and I would recommend to you (based on this and previous hand posts) are the basic preflop charts from the strategy articles; even if you study the ranges and their use cases super hard I think having those as a baseline (your ABC) is great, to keep your game leaning more towards tight than towards loose game (with exceptions of course, when circumstances dictate so)

Hey thanks for the advice! I do use gto pre-flop charts from pokercoaching.com and 3-betting LJ here with KJo as bluff from BTN is in these charts. there are a ton of charts though and now I am seeing on some other charts it can be folded.

The one thing we all need to remember sometimes using these charts is that all GTO preflop is against someone that play equilibrium, it isn’t against some that 3bets 5% that is tighter or against someone that 3bets 11%. You need to take some of this information into account as well. Same as vpip and pfr. I know you were the 3better.

If villain only opens 7% overall then 3betting KJo is probably -ev is my guess. But not sure.

Yes - I was talking about the preflop chart from this pokerstrategy article. It is quite tight and I've seen in the forums that some people do not like it - but I believe it's a great basis for any preflop magic you do later with ranges, or when you get tired and play the ABC game...

Remember that those ranges are:
 basic
 meant for beginners
 deliberately tight to help keep players out of trouble post-flop

I think that they're great for fast-fold games, but when playing for a few hours against the same people, it really helps to take notes and adjust your ranges to suit the style of play you find.

i think it is tough to do anything else here but to fold preflop. if you decide to play this hand, it will be very complicated and guessing game postflop where you are often behind vs his range.
