Read: villain minraised about 50% of his hands from the button. Can I still fold after his push?

$25/$50 No Limit Holdem
2 players
Converted at weaktight.com

Stacks:
BTN f1shd0nk ($1460.00)
BB Hero ($1540.00)

Pre-flop: ($75, 2 players) Hero is BB 7♦ 7♣
f1shd0nk raises to $100, Hero raises to $300, f1shd0nk goes all-in $1,460, Hero calls $1,160

It really depends if he 4-bets often and if you 3-bet him often. In this case, without reads, I fold it. 77 is quite marginal hand. I might be more inclined to call with TT+

If his range is more or less reasonable, like 88+, AJs+, KQs, AJo+, you're getting 38% equity, so it's a fold/close break-even call. Personally, I'd fold just because I doubt he'd push with anything 77 is ahead against.

it's read dependant.. I think folding is slightly better vs unknown or without more info on game dynamic.
