PokerStars, Hold'em No Limit - $0.01/$0.02 - 6 players
Hand delivered by Upswing Poker

UTG: $2.24 (112 bb)
MP: $2.14 (107 bb)
CO: $7.49 (375 bb)
BU: $1.89 (95 bb)
SB (Hero): $3.60 (180 bb)
BB: $1.20 (60 bb)

Pre-Flop: ($0.03) Hero is SB with Q A
UTG raises to $0.06, 1 fold, CO 3-bets to $0.18, 1 fold, SB (Hero) folds, 2 players fold

How would you play this AQ? I watched some material that mentioned you typically don't want to cold call a 3-bet in the middle like this like ever. so then my options are fold or raise... but I do not know how strong the initial opener is, he could 4-bet so I don't love raising but I don't love folding either. How would you play this?

Yup, I'm in that camp.
For that I would need AKs vs loose players, or KK+ vs tight ones.

Against unknowns, folding works -- but take notes if you can.
If they start doing this a lot[1] then AQs would be an easy 4Bet

[1] I have no idea what "a lot" would be.

Folding pre-flop isn't to bad. if both villains are aggressive i would consider 4betting around 60c in total.

Whats the standard for 4-betting IP and OOP sizings?, OOP we just add an extra bb or 2? We make it 3x and if villain 5-bet shoves can we ever call it off or is it a pure fold? Do we ever make it 4x? Can we 2.5x since its a large bet?

I think it would be fine 4bet bluff. If we dont bluff with AQs then what are our bluffs there? As for sizing I think you should go for 22-23bb there as your are OOP to CO. Obviously you should never call there unless you have AA and EP is known whale spewer.
