My roll is currently sat at $102, it's been up then down then up then down lol always between $100 and $130.

I don't think this is variance at play, I think my game isn't exactly at it's peak. Apart from blatant bad beats early on I pretty much always get to the bubble and am getting knocked out in the push/fold phase constantly.

I'm going to make sure that over the coming weeks I spend an equal time with the ICM trainer as I do playing poker. Hopefully my results will show an improvement before I go busto!

Hey wurble... practicing on the ICM trainer is one of the best things you can do to improve your push/fold game... the other is by posting lotsa hands... good luck!

Thanks Nick.

Yeah, i've been practicing with icm trainer... I had forgotten just how many hands you can push! I clearly haven't been pushing a wide enough range of hands and i've been calling shoves too wide as well.

I feel that once I get this part of my game under complete control my results will improve big time.

OK, i'll admit to straying off the path a couple of times this month... I played a couple of $2.20 180 man sng's and got knocked out of both, I also decided I wanted to play a set of $6.50 sng's (4) and only finished 3rd in one so my BR would look even healthier had I not bothered. Slapped wrist for me!

Ultimately though i'm getting along a lot better now than I was because I have clear direction and goals. I shouldn't have played the 6.50's or 180 mans but compared to my recent poker history this is a minor setback that i'm willing to accept.

I'm off work tomorrow so will aim to get at least 60 sng's in. I will post another update once i'm done.
