Ahoi Community,

PokerStars - $0.05 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
BTN (BTN): 100 BB
SB (SB): 140.2 BB
Hero (BB): 112 BB
UTG (UTG): 52.4 BB
MP (MP): 79.2 BB (only 3 Hands, but probably a Casual-Player. Limps with a broken Stack)
CO (CO): 176.8 BB
SB posts SB 0.4 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB
Dealt to Hero: T♠:4♠:

fold, MP calls 1 BB, fold, fold, fold, Hero checks

Flop (2.4 BB, 2 players): 5♥:2♠:6♠:
Hero bets 1.4 BB, MP calls 1.4 BB
Turn (5.2 BB, 2 players): 7♠:
Hero bets 3.8 BB, MP calls 3.8 BB
River (12.8 BB, 2 players): 8♦:
Hero bets 9.6 BB, MP raises to 25 BB, Hero???

Until my River-Bet it`s standard, but maybe I should have overbet the river.
The Limp-Fisch can call every 2Pair, Set, Str8 with a 9x and could also call with a small Overpair or TP.

Board: 5h6s2s7s
Equity Win Tie
MP2 88.15% 88.15% 0.00% {Ts4s}
MP3 11.85% 11.85% 0.00% {TT-55, 22, A9s-A8s, K9s, Q9s, J9s, T9s, 97s+, 86s-85s, 75s+, 65s, AsQs, KsQs, AsJs, KsJs, QsJs, AsTs, KsTs, QsTs, JsTs, As3s, Ks3s, Qs3s, Js3s, 9s3s, A9o-A8o, K9o, Q9o, J9o, T9o, 86o+}

But what does he raise with? Some Fish only raise the Nut-Flush, others could raise a Str8, maybe even a Set or 2Pair and of course once in a while some random nonsense.
The question is, what does occur more frequently? Nutz-Only or a strong, but non-nutted-range with some funny moves from time to time?
Should I just call and take a Note or push and hope for the 2nd case?

Greetings

I'd x/c flop.
As played, bet turn and bet river is good, IMO, and easy call OTR for me.
You beat straights, which is definitely in their value raising range.

Thanks for the Answer.

Against a Fish in a Limped Pot I play the hand the same way as I would do as the aggressor. This keeps my Life simple ;)

In this situation when the fish-population can raise a Straight, shouldn`t I re-raise then for Value?
When a fish can raise hands he shouldn`t raise, then he can also call off the rest of his stack with a Straight.
And he can have way more Straight- then Flush-Combos.

3betting is very marginal IMO.
Question if they call often enough with a straight here. Now that I think about it, I doubt that they are able to fold very often... So maybe 3betting is better than I initially thought?

Ok, let's not be results oriented but I guess it's still the best play. So wp!

I need to have decent reads to not stack off the river against a fish.
Decent change villain can over play straights here.

Cheers,

MP is limping some weaker hand, he could have hand like low pair, Axo, mid connectors, some type BBo or he tried bluf AA.
On the river I will expect A9, T9, 44 or sets 55, 66. A didnot expect QsJs, KsQs, Asxs, maybe Ksxs, Qsxs.
You have to call 25 BB to pot 47 BB, you need 35% eqt, you have good equity - river call.

You could miss some value with just calling river against a random NL5 villain.

My mistake, I thought that opponent is all in with river rerise. He is still near 50 BB behind.
Than rerise river would be better.

feels like a clear call.

3B is way too thin with a T-high flush. Sure some idiots may raise 1card straights on the RIver, but I think it's mostly a flush and you still beat some lower flushes and the badly played straight or random bluff.
