Housewarming event 1c
2000/1000/2000 - 9 players

Setup
UTG - Hero (80,000 - 40BB) [K♥︎10♣︎]
LJ (80,000 - 40BB)

Preflop (Pot size: 0)
Hero raises 5000
UTG+1 fold
LJ calls
HJ folds
CO folds
BTN fold
SB folds
BB folds

Flop (Pot size: 15000) [7♦︎A♠︎8♥︎]
Hero 8000
LJ calls

Turn (Pot size: 31000) [J♥︎]
Hero bets 15000
LJ calls

River (Pot size: 61000) [8♦︎]
Hero ALL-In
LJ calls A♠︎Q♦︎ (after thinking about 3 min)

Should the hero go ALL-In on the turn? (when it was a gut shot and fold equity?) Or give up the hand on the turn?

I have moved your hand to our hand discussion board. There fits it better.

KTo I would fold most of the time pre-flop from UTG or the table is tight. KTo isn't playing so well post-flop and most of the time you don't have position post-flop.

Not sure you have any reads on the villain in this hand, but against a unknown I would slow down the turn. Turn is a blank most of the time and I don't think villain will fold to often top pair here.

Cheers,

Fold pre for sure. You don't need to play these hands from this position in soft fields. Just putting yourself in tricky spots you don't need to.
