Something suddenly dawned on me while trying to figure peoples stats out in Rush&Cash seeing people with 20/18 vpip and pfr and 20% 3bet i was finding it puzzling. Now ive not been a fan of leader boards and don't play for them myself but it dawned on me. That the point scoring +5 for a bet/raise is what makes for the aggressive games with people going for leader boards. So this makes for more aggressive games than would other wise be the case if you take out that incentive it goes back to a very nitty game. Although i still think the 24 hour leader boards have their faults because it encourages excessive play the general idea is good.

I noticed the same on R&C about 3bet stats.
Also are you sure it is a fault and not a feature of the leaderboard? Don't forget that GG collects rake preflop as well. If there is a way for you, as a site, to encourage people to play bigger pots and pay more rake, you would do it without hesitation, wouldn't you?

Allows you to defend your opening ranges slightly better vs 3bets with the spr etc... lots of people use smaller sizes than 2.5x these days as well. But tbh i dont think the difference is huge between 2.5x and 3x etc..
It seems that it would open you up to more 3Bets.
Do you open slightly wider because you're betting smaller, or do you also protect your opening range by tightening it up?
When I first started playing, UTG and UTG+1 opening bet size was 4BB — mostly to avoid giving BB great odds to call very wide.
Over the years it went to three BB, then 3 except 2.5 on BTN and now I see 2.5 even earlier.
I'll have to catch your stream again to see how it plays out

solved ranges are slightly wider than what i used to open for 3x i think the difference isnt huge but enough so you can defend slightly wider ranges vs 3bets with the smaller 3bets and spr etc... But since im using a set of solved ranges for the micros i just use the advised open sizes to go with them although i do tweak the ranges slightly to suit me better.

Oh it's without doubt a feature but it has its good side for players like myself in that player pool who dont play for leaderboards.

They dont really differ to much from ranges from 10 or 15 years ago tbh the main difference is not really any cold calls they are mainly 3bet or fold ranges. And the big blind defends wider than old ranges used to defend and the opening size is half a blind smaller (not sure it makes a huge difference though).

20k hands completed holdem manager has me winning at 8.66 bb/100. But i dont think it takes in to account running it two or three times and the cash outs plus bonuses and rakeback.

Pokercraft graph

winnings $78.97
hands played 20,276
78.97/.02*100/20,276=19.4
So if im working it out correctly when i add bonuses/rakeback and take in to account the use of features like cashout and run it twice im winning at 19.4 bb/100. Target is $150 for a shot at 5nl so not far to go.

Going along really, really well. Looking forward to 5NL. I cant beat it at the moment
Not to sure it's the best shove blocking QJ it's likely KK AA are much better unblocking QJ but still with QQ i don't think i can do much else here.

Maybe not the best, but really hard not to with that runout.
You didn't mention sets — the board really nails the range where a UTG open can hit a set with a pocket pair.
