QQ facing all-in on the river

Seems fine till the river. Check/call river. As played fold is okay. You are with nothing but a bluffcatcher at this point

On the river you need to think about what kind of hands would call your bet on the river that you beat. Not to many I think. As played a fold seems standard.

i guess we can exclude hands like KK AA from villain since he probably would raise preflop bigger or 4bet preflop.

Therefor a 3 seems also unlikly and the only hand that beats us is TT, and he can have worse and on NL 2 you can probably get it in on the flop or as played just shove the turn.

On the river i think bet/folding is okay, but i think checking river is best and probably check call unless he is just bombing it.

If you don't raise, you're slow-playing a mere overpair.

Reraising the flop would mean going broke with QQ on the flop vs a 23/16 player.. what would call me if not A3s that he may have raised preflop or TT? JJ is the only hand that I would beat on the flop and so I think I’d be behind.
I didn’t raise because I thought there may be a chance that flop raise was a bluff and that villain was protecting a hand like AT. Not sure if my thinking is sound.

I really dont know. Against certain villains would call off.

Think also about AA or bluf. On the river check call if there was not all-in. Other street goods.

Raise it bigger preflop with 24% fold to 3 bet this sizing OOP should be 4 or 5x.

On the flop he could really only have TT, A3s or AT as his value hands that connect with that board. He may also play JJ+ this way as well, however KK and AA usually would've 4bet you preflop.

Possible bluffs is QJs with backdoor flush/straight draws. KQs with same backdoors and 2 overs although not likely. The player is relatively tight looking. Another stat I look at in my HUD for agression is 3bet and Cbet stats. Check/raise stat as well.

Bet/calling the flop is not terrible here.

Another line we could take with this hand is just re-raise the flop and try to get it in against overplayed JJ or Tx hands (which happens a lot at NL2 and even at NL10) and just lose to 3x or TT but possibly get a bluffcatch from an overplayed 99, 88 or 77 type hand.

The J on the turn and the 9 on the river connect with 2 of the worse hands you were beating, JJ and 99 have both got there so you really just guess now as to what the villain could have that would bet this way you would still be beating. JTs, T9s are really the only 2 hands he could have here and then a ton of bluffs that gave up on the turn but decided to give it a second barrel on the river when you bet 1/3 of the pot, it's a great spot to just shove hoping to get a ton of folds..and usually that bet will do that if it's done to a player who is capable of making big laydowns which at NL2 laying down QQ here is a pretty big fold.
