Villain had been 3betting quite actively but had not seen much showdowns. I wonder if this river should be value shove versus AA, KK? We have 23€ behind so SPR 0.7 roughly.

Villain was somewhat sticky looking. 9 is sort of bad but villain doesnt necessarily have that many of those with that flop and turn line. Could perhaps be like 99 but that is now way less likely. So in reality I think river is not that bad. It could be scary for villain though making overpairs less likely to call.

Of course villain might occasionally have A3 or K3 also which I was bit worried. Not sure I kind of felt this should still be value shove on river at least with my read that villain is somewhat hero call happy.

Read less I would check it down. Tough to get value or a better hand to fold and you have decent showdown value.

I dont think he has better trips on turn but I also dont think after the double paired river any OP wants to call anymore. do you have bluffs OTT in your range?

No bluffs versus most to be honest. My flop check capping range combined with villain having often AA or KK just makes this pretty bad spot to bluff. Of course it depends on leveling stuff. If villain think its bad spot then its good spot and so on. I can definitely have some top set type hands as slowplay. Especially as it often comes cards with close proximity so we have some huge monsters.

i would probably meekly check behind but missing out on thin value is a leak of mine. also I'm folding to the three bet with these side cards
