Just had a great night at the poker tables. Wasn't following BRM at all NGL. But I started the night down about oh I dunno..$200. Had about $300 left in my bankroll. Decided to go play some NL100 high stakes for me. Dominated ended up making 2 hero calls, 1 with pocket 8's on a triple queen board in a 3 bet pot against a loose 3 bettor who I presumed was stealing. Called all 3 barrels. Won the all in as he turns over 86s, no hand, no draw..just bluffing.

Next, another very aggro looking guy 3x 3 bets my QKo OOP from the BB. I'm on BU but the stacks are fairly deep. 150+ bbs. I just call.

Flop comes 9d Qs 8s. He bets half pot. I call.

Turn is Ts. He bets 1/3 pot. I do have the Ks FD plus now the gutshot plus a decent bluffcatcher. I'm not putting him on much here honestly ever because of how he's betting this.
So I call.

River comes a straight. Jc.

So the board is 9d Qs 8s Ts Jc.

He has about 120bb left in his stack as do I. Pot is about 80bb now. He thinks for about 5 seconds and jams.

I'm instantly sick. I use 2 time banks and figure after leaning toward fold...very agressive player here my HUD tells me and in an agressive position.

Also.. If he was on the flush draw with the A and just didn't get there this bet would make sense. Also. He doesn't really do this with a flush all the time anyways. He would have bet more on the turn. Especially with the board texture as it was and a 3 bet pot in position. I'm not putting him on AK very often as this would've been bet stronger the entire way. I also have some blockers to his AK combos as well.

Last second I call. He shows down Ac 5s. I take down a massive pot. Finished the session up $200ish

Next I'm parlaying $20 into the big bounty holdem tourney. I finish 5th collecting over $200 for the effort and move into my new favourite game, PLO5.

So I'm noticing some fish at the PLO5-10 game. Very loose passive stats and some Loose agressive as well, all with deep stacks. I play for a bit and I'm at about 600bb. Before losing a massive cooler, all in on flop, I hit Broadway on turn, he hits flush on river I get stacked.

I take a break. Come back later notice the guy's still there but has dumped my chips off to someone else. I sit. I shark them for their entire table worth of money. I even have the tight passive players giving me stacks. After 2 hours I've collected over 2200 BB's. I leave.

I withdraw funds for the second time in 1 night and my poker bankroll is now $750 exactly.

I order Subway.

Good day...or good night..however you wanna look at it.

And also..I've decided that since I always seem to lose at the beginning of every session, I need to start my sessions at the lowest stakes possible and work my way up if I'm playing good rather than the other way around which is usually work my way up if I'm playing bad to snap myself out of it and start actually trying...this way I will lose less while warming up as well for a few hours and then cap out at NL10 or 20 or something.

Not running hot anymore I've really cooled off I'm hardly even playing MTTs right now lol about 55 L's out of my last 65. πŸ‘Ž When they hit a set or a gutshot in just about every all in and you lose every single flip this will happen lol but I'm not worried about it my cash games are keeping me stable right now. So that's where I'll focus the most of my attention.
