Top 2 vs river shove

I'd prefer a 3bet vs most Vs. As played you dont have initiative. On this turn he is obviously polraized with the big bet, but you are waaaaay to high up your range to consider a fold. This will be an FD often enough. On the river it is an rather easy fold. He is never shipping worse unless he hates money.

Cheers man, although do disagree with 3betting pre tbh as I’d prefer to keep the pot smaller with such a marginal hand. IMO having the initiative is less relevant IP when you have a marginal hand which isn’t suited but curious what other people think.

I think you played the hand perfectly well until the river. Your self evaluation is spot on I think. However, sitting at the table under pressure, folding the river when you hit top 2p on a big pot is anything but easy! But I believe these are the spots we must learn to recognize we are beat and give up on the hand. Knowing your type of opponent may help in your decision making. However, I have to admit like most I probably would have called as well knowing I could be beat a decent amount of the time.

Folding the turn seems like a decent option as well. I don't expect villain will semi bluff against 2 players and villains bet is huge. That could be a tell as well. You have only a bluff catcher I think.

River is a tricky card with the flush, but I don't think villain will have a flush based on the post-flop action so far. That makes folding tough when you improved your hand.

Good point SDK. I really don’t mind a fold OTT. I think he may play a combo draw specifically like this, which I appreciate is only 1 or 2 combos. The Kc does block a lot of these combos though, so maybe JTc specifically

Preflop I would 3B most of the time. On the turn a pot bet is mostly powerhouse... Fold seems decent.
