PLO10 QQJ9ds flop sizing

This is such strong hand that I would just squeeze preflop especially with such loose opponents. We need to go with it though if someone does 4bet.

As played on flop both lead and x-r are fine. But go for bigger sizing. When opponents have hands you listed they will very likely continue versus big raise as well. Small raise on very dynamic flop like this doesnt make sense really. There are few issues with your thinking also from view of board changing cards. Like if board pairs on turn it could kill action from draws and with flop minraise we lost ton of value.

Agree, but wouldnt 3bet pot on the flop, probably stg around 2.8-2.9x, again, mainly because of the weaker draws. Are you ok with that sizing?

In dynamic boards I tend to use 3/4-1 pot size for raising. Then on more static boards like paired or monotone flops we can go smaller, e.g. half pot or smaller depending of SPR. Like in 3bet pot it can be totally fine to use minraise on paired board.

On dynamic boards our range need more protection and I would in general lean toward single sizing. So even if some really strong hands might want to raise smaller it can be better to use that single sizing.

Always raise pot preflop as QQJ9ds, btw is not a real premium hand and you are never big favourit preflop in PLO. Against very loose players our hand is strong enough to squeeze preflop.

Raise the flop a little bigger the rest is fine. You see, despite your blocker you could be behind pretty often on the turn already as JTxx is a common hand. In PLO you often have texture shifts that change the current best hand.

I would play more less same way vs loose player. Of course TURN could complete str8.
