What should be done in this situation? I was ready to call the short one. After the MP2 call I got confused.
There were 173 players left, and if I remember correctly, 153 were ITM... None of them had much bounty value.

No Limit Hold'em Tournament T8,000/T16,000

Preflop: (T43,200, 8 players) Hero is BB with T♦ A♠
1 fold, UTG+1 raises to T98,624 (all-in), 1 fold, MP2 calls T98,624, 4 folds

UTG+1 shows 9♣ A♥ (a high card, Ace high [Ah Qh Th 9c 8c])
MP2 shows K♣ J♥ (a high card, King high [Kc Qh Jh Th 8c])

UTG+1 wins T240,448 from main pot

I looked at these data MP2 now, but I don't even know how to use them

Thx :f_drink:

I would call pre-flop and check it down with middle pair. Any bounty is interesting, but 3betting is a little bit to much. You don't want to play a huge pot against the MP player with ATo

Cheers,

Just now I lost 65bb against MP... I haven't played in 3-4 years and was convinced that QTo was not in his range... I defended with K8 29J88 he played exactly to prove to me that he has QT on the turn, but I see how much I don't know at this moment and the whole stack is gone Thank you for your answer and I will take time for new learning
