If you recognize this as "max value", you have a huge problem..Max value here means he will check back with some hands with which he will call a shove ( as probe bet)...I mean some hands will play check-check-check, but this hands will call vs shove :f_biggrin:...This is ridiculous...I think 70% bet OTR will be the "max EV"...I think it's best...Even check is better than shove OTR...And overbet as well..Will be better. This is the worst option..Your play...

Also preflop fold > 3bet > call

This play is a "min EV", not the "max EV"..If you have bluffs here , maybe you can justify this play. But I don't think so...This will be even more ridiculous...

Did I offend you!?

What are you're own thoughs during the hand? I don't see a point in over bet shoving the river. You get only action of a few hands and most 2 pair combó's villain can't have after passive play on flop and turn.

If vilain has TT or 98 like now you get still a raise if you bet around half pot. Any random Tx isn't calling a huge over bet.

I understand but I have my own reasons to shove here. It’s difficult to explain.

Maybe. If hero bet pot on the river and V just calls with 98 isn't that a loss? I like the shove. V likely folds 22 to a half pot bet. But there is a chance V is the kind to trap, JJ AA 77 33 TT AJ JT AT A7 and 98 isn't folding now.

If you can't recognize the max EV, you should at least recognize the "min EV" AKA the worst possible decision...What he have in his range? We are not talking for the field tendencies now. We should make this simple, better understanding is needed. Obv.. Ok, what possible hands? Bluffcatchers, traps, strong hands, which are made OTR and complete garbage. How we will achieve max EV here? With shove? Only the very strong hands will pay and this hands will bet OTR, if we check OTR. For SURE..Because they are not a "traps" already, we are going to SD, if he check back...This hands will bet. Which means check is the better option than shove...Even this stupid line is better than shove...The shove is the worst possible decision here...

This situation is just ridiculous...When someone makes a huge mistake and show it, everyone else should tell him. But I notice that is not a case. In this community ..The largest community (English) in a very popular site for "poker strategy"...Some pervert relationships here.."It's not that bad, but I prefer this"..I am waiting for this "guy" @Napoleon to tap you on the shoulder. Also this JTs hand ( JTs getting second pair OTT )..Such a bad play and no one is telling him directly..Because his feelings will be hurt...There are two kinds of forums. For improving your game and for boosting your poker ego. Pokerstrategy was the first kind, now is the second...

I think it comes down to why I play the no limit holdem game, and to exercise the freedom of game theory variation. Also, something about the way I play and the way I look to others that gives me insane actions.

Doesn't make sense..Check-shove then..They observe very carefully how you play, how you "look" and that's why they expect bluff here. Even then , you should not shove. Because you will never bluff like that..Nonsense..

NoNameHypo the fact that you think some play is wrong doesnt mean that we should automatically agree with your opinion. We are diffrent players, so diffrent opinions are natural. I dont understand why you are so jealous when somebody disagree with you.

In this particular hand his play might be terrible but i see he try some new stuff lately. Some unusual moves and he shares them. So i want to encourage him to do it not only him but everybody. It's because of people like you the others dont try something new because they will receive nothing but spit and mockery in the face.

So take it easy.
