[Closed] PLO25 top pair + wrap on flush draw board

First of all the hand you play lacks playability a bit as it's a "top gapper" so it'll be hard to hit nut straights with a redraw. you could gamble of course but i'd suggest just limp-call vs a raising machine.

after you didn't hit the flop it is an easy fold for you. actually your hand is very-very weak to play on stack. you may just put it in the equilator at propokertools.com just to see your chances vs, e.g., overpair+flush-draw, just A-high flus-draw with any hit, vs sets, vs two-pair, even 89TJ... you'll see.

open raise from CO is fine imo, you can find a fold to the 3bet oop if the other gut doesn't call because of the lack of playability that Ratatuj explained.

I don't agree about this being an easy fold , I'm stacking off with top pair+3overs+OESD on 3bet pot .... pokertools range (probably needs a bit of work but shows my point)

That's a significant discrepancy in opinions. From "easy fold" to "i'm stacking off here" is about as polarized as it gets!! Further discussion would be appreciated as this kind of opponent who apparently has just come to gamble can be found pretty regularly on the micro stakes PLO tables.

Regardless of equity issues should we just wait for a better opportunity and play tight.Personally I don't see the point of calling a 3bet just to fold most flops to the aggression we know is going to come as this guy is just going to stack off to someone else pretty quick anyway.Obviously it's always going to be hard against this sort of guy oop.

I can see both sides of the coin here and that two respected players differ so widely in their analysis is what makes PLO the game it is. So much more exciting than Hold EM!!

I'm not thrilled about the situation but I'm confident it's +ev and it's fairly standard to ship that board on a 3bet pot.

sure we can (and probably should) nit up against a very aggressive guy oop. however 2 hands is not a samplesize

Am I the only one who would consider just calling in that spot? C/R eliminates a lot of the hands hero is ahead of, and causes marginal allin spots. Though I'm sure pure overpair will call any time of the day at PL25.

this is a very easy check/ship against the c-better.
c/calling would be an alternative but since we're committed anyway it doesn't matter that much.
