Oh yeah I should have been moving back to NL2, but I was stubborn and kept playing at NL5, not regretting it so far.

Is the rake this big in the Pokerstars cash games? WOW. I haven't played cash in like 6-7 years regularly but WTF :f_mad:

Yes it's about 12,5 BB/100 that is pretty crazy right? That adds up to the €53 rake attributed for the last week at NL5 :f_cry: I wanted to focus on my cash game because of the freedom to play whenever I want and quit whenever I want but I might start to reconsider switching overtime to MTT's mainly because of this.

Your play should be based on reason than on your wishes. Your size depends mostly on V you are facing.

2nd hand is well played.

3rd hand. I dont even know why do you post hands like this? It's a standard hand. Such a hands tend to happen every day to all of us who play regularly. You claim that you are get used to it and yet you are whining.

I understand that this is your blog and you could do whatever you want. The idea is to point you a mental leak. Maybe some sort of a contradiction in your mindset. Whining might give you a temporary relief but wont heal the mental problem from its roots.

Yeah 1st hand it's always easier when you see the cards after the hand is played of course. If I knew he hat a Q high flush I would have shoved but I tried to get value from low flushes and maybe Kx hands too and with a 100BB shove into a 30BB pot I don't see it happening unless V was a whale.

3rd hand yes it's standard, I don't post it to whine actually the opposite is true. Like I commented before that was a spot that used to tilt me heavy. It no longer does. Now I'm not thrilled when I see it happen, but it no longer wants me to shout out curse words or throw my computer through the window. Mental growth :f_biggrin::f_thumbsup:

That's nice. So i recommend you to stop posting such a hands and try to eradicate this habit. That way you save time and will prevent you from adding potentially some annoyment or anger in yourself witch inevitably will escalate.

The idea is to train your mind to forget about such a hands as quickly as possible and not to remind yourself about them by posting them.

That's a really crazy amount of rake, but nice to see that you make still a decent aount of profit.

@nsavov I do and did understand it back then but I'm simply not a tournament player. My main concern is I don't have time to regularly play in hours long tournaments until late at night and then there's the variance. So at least for now they're not really an option for me.

@SDK Yeah as long as we can keep moving up we are happy right :f_thumbsup:

I have been focussing more on my fitness this week and less time for poker both playing and studying. Just one short session. Need to put in some volume again pretty soon.

Sadly I start to notice lots of mistakes and errors and my level of play is nowhere near it was a few weeks ago. Haven't put much time into neither playing nor studying due to being busy with other things and this caused already damage to my level of play. I have work to do.

On the flip side I did a lot of core training and running and I'm getting in better physical shape.
