I forgot that I also had to post my results here, so I only updated my own blog. I am now in week 6, so here is a short recap of the first 5 weeks.
Started with $100 on GG Poker to play Rush & Cash 5NL.
Week 1: $119, nice start, but then came week 2...
Week 2: $80, tilted half my bankroll away to $60 and then won $20 back.
Time to change some things, switched to regular tables instead of Rush & Cash. I had to admit I was not good enough to play the tougher field in fast-fold poker.
Also started playing on Unibet, next to GG. I started on Unibet with €30.
Week 3: GG Poker $80, Unibet €60. Hmmm the field on Unibet seems much softer.
Week 4: GG Poker $100, Unibet €85. This is looking better, but probably not a sustainable winrate
Week 5: GG Poker $106, Unibet €95. Hope I can continue this way.
Sneak preview week 6: started adding Rush & Cash again, shouldn't have: couple of buy-ins down. But I made that up on the regular tables.
I have to watch out now that I don't become complacent. A real pitfall, next to the "normal" tilt, for me is that after I have some winning sessions, all of a sudden I think I'm much better than I really am. Thinking I can outplay other players with marginal hands, which of course is not the case. I should print out the results of week 2 and remind myself that maybe I am an okay player on 5NL. But for sure not (yet) a good player:f_grin:
