SB: $4.19 (209.5 bb)
BB: $3.62 (181 bb)
UTG: $2.02 (101 bb) => unknown and I'm regular so I suppose he's a recreational.
MP: $1.74 (87 bb)
CO: $4.83 (241.5 bb)
Hero (BTN): $2.55 (127.5 bb)
Preflop: Hero is BTN with K♠: A♦:
UTG raises to $0.05, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.15, 2 folds, UTG calls $0.10
After PF 3b call I put V on PP, Suited connectors, and possible but less likely: AQ, Axs, .
Flop: ($0.33) 4♣: 4♠: 9♦: (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $0.18, UTG calls $0.18
On a dry board I Cb small to keep PP in and give myself the correct odds to hit my A or K on turn or river.
Turn: ($0.69) A♠: (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks
The A gives me TPTK, I check to induce a bluff on river and hope no spade rivers.
River: ($0.69) T♦: (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $0.22, UTG raises to $1.69 and is all-in, Hero calls $1.47
After all checks from V even on river I exclude a 4 and sets from his range.
The river was a snap-jam after my small bet. I assumed A♣x:club: or TTcould make a play like this as I checked turn and a small bet on the river might seem bluffy from his end of the table.
Usually I don't make these kind of calls as most of the times I loose but was it a correct call in this hand, as played?
Would you play the turn different?
