Yeah better than cashgames haha :f_smile: But I mainly play hypers because they don't last too long, so lot of luck involved probably! This even was a shortstack bounty racer, where you start with only 10bb, and first level dures 20 minutes. Kind of a long spin n go ... but I think these are quite soft ... either that, or I'm lucky in them ...

I'm thinking about cashing out a few $100 though, not sure ... maybe not and waste it on nl$10 _thumbsup:

it is both luck and skill.. but you can see your edge overall sometimes. i had AA on utg today 11bb deep in $0.25 45-man on Stars, I opened 2bb cause the field was real soft. Sb calls, bb calls 3bb deep and flop comes T8x. pot is what, like 7 bb, i cbet 2bb from my 9bb stack, sb shoves with 55, bb calls w random Ax, I call and turn is 5. that was the end of it. but that check/shove w 55, over that i have some edge i think

Yeah indeed I see a lot of players making weird moves in these speed racers, like calling all-ins light with hands they could push, but not call , or call any ace or whatever ... sometimes you have to fold an ace or pocket pair ... so I probably have an edge

I think the structure attracts a worse field than regular MTTS ... it's a fast-paced bounty killing field with high bounties pretty soon with a gambling-feel. And a nice duration of 1.5 hours :f_biggrin: get rich fast!

Wow, another final table just like that, on the same day!! :f_drink::f_drink::f_pleased:

BR = $887/$1000

Might cash out 350-ish soon, have to think about it.

Oh man, today was a good day ... I didn't even have to use my AK _biggrin: _thumbsup:_thumbsup:

I was so lucky in the second one, much more than in the one I won. Did I mention I won this thing?

Didn't play cashgames much this week with the mtts going that well. I did already loose $50 with mtt buyins as well afterwards. I don't really feel like playing cashgames. In any case I will stay at nl10 and possibly even nl5 when I do play cashgames, not really tempted to look at nl25 :f_biggrin:

BR = $832

Although I was nearing my goal of $1000, I just cashed out $332. So bankroll is now $500, and I will proceed with the $1000 target!

Congrats on the winnings!!! Isn't it the best feeling when you cashout money you've earned and you can buy something with them :f_biggrin:

This is good thinking IMO. Don't jump limits if you haven't comfortably beaten the one below. At least you have a good bankroll to take a few cracks at NL10 again when you feel like it :f_cool:

Keep stackin' up! We stackin' up!

Almost no cashgame-hands this week though, feel like playing these speed racers. If I force myself to play cash I might play bad ...

Seriously, scrolling through your blog, you should consider staying with MTTs if you've got the time. Just a pity that for MTTs people with kids or limited time are not able to play as good.

Maybe I should, yes .. but I just can't play more than 1 table at a time with mtts ... I can play 1 MTT and 1 fastfold cashtable next to it, but more than 1 mtt and I loose too much info about what's going on, and I loose my edge if I have one. So hard to make any volume with mtts for me.

But I guess I already shifted towards doing that (without the cashgame table on the side), I don't play much cash anymore now ...

Thanks for intrest!

I think you should play what you really like most and if that also turns out to be profitable, then your life is great :f_cool:

I'm still struggling.
I love the MTT, but I only play one at a time and it can take really long sometimes (midnight hours). Every now and then I win a significant price, but many times not.
I like cash games. I can play 6 tables at the same time and stop whenever I want. I get way more Strategy Points and status levels, but never a huge price :)

Too bad there is no time for MTT. I am in the same situation.
10 years of SNG and MTT and now I have to play cash because I don't have time from work and children
Good Luck!

A lot of losses after the wins as well, playing too high buyins for my bankroll.

:f_thumbsup: What I mainly like about tournament-games is the dynamics in (smaller) stacksizes, not just 100bbs and up like in cashgame. It makes it more interesting. Sometimes you can do weird things based on stacksizes, and sometimes you cannot do something because of the stacksizes. Different dynamic than cashgames.

I like to switch it up I guess. Sometimes I feel like cashgames for a few weeks, or spin n go's, or mtts :f_grin:
But longer mtts take too long for me, I want to do something else and don't continue to play well sometimes. That's why I play hypers mainly, or now the hyper hypers I guess (speedracers @ GG).
